Getting here:
Please choose to walk or cycle where you can. There is no dedicated parking on site. Please make use of Town Centre car parks.
Both Cockpit Path and Denmark Street car parks are a couple of minutes walk from Langborough Rec.
Waste and Recycling:
We are working with Kethro Ltd to manage the waste and recycling at this event. They work in conjunction with Grundon in the south. Waste created at this event is processed to ensure as many recyclables are retrieved as possible and sent off to be recycled. Typically that’s around or more than 90% of materials. Anything that isn’t recyclable is sent to an Energy from Waste facility where it is incinerated to produce energy for the grid. Since taking on this approach it has been reported that no waste from the Fun Day has gone to landfill.
Other info:
Dogs can attend but must stay on a lead at all times and owners must be aware that the event can be loud and busy. Individual providers retain the right to request dogs are moved away.
