Wokingham In Bloom seed team began to hand out seed packets in 2020, and has continued with vegetable and flower seeds, plants, wildflower bombs and bulbs.
The seed library is now located in Peach Place in Maya’s Refillables (eco business).
In 2022 and 2023, a total of 5,000 seed packets and around 500 plants were given away, either directly from the shop or at events such as Langborough Children’s Fun Day and Heritage Open Day, where Wokingham in Bloom volunteers ran plant-related stalls.
