Binfield Road Allotments

  • This site was established in 2021
  • Binfield Road Allotment site has 42 plots of varying size
  • This site has sheds provided for allotment holders
  • This site has a waterless toilet
  • This site has rainwater capture
  • This site has car parking

  • This site was established in 1935
  • Gipsy Lane Allotment site has 92 plots of varying size

  • This site was established in March 2022
  • The site has 29 plots of varying size

  • This site has been operating as an allotment for more than 100 years
  • This is the largest of the town council’s allotment sites, with 205 plots
  • Sheds on this site are provided by allotment holders

  • This site is home to the Wokingham Horticultural Association
  • This site has a waterless toilet
  • This site has beehives

Penny Row Allotments

  • This is the newest allotment site, opening in April 2023
  • The site has 23 plots of varying size

  • This site has a communal orchard and picnic benches

St Paul's Gate Allotments

  • Our smallest site with 24 plots of varying sizes
  • This site is on land owned by Wokingham Free Church and has been an allotment since 1974
  • Car parking space is limited.
  • This site has mains water via underground pipes linked to several tap points.

 

The annual cost of an average plot (2.5 poles) from 1st November 2024 for residents who live within the town of Wokingham is £29.88 which includes a ‘per pole’ charge for the use of mains fed water.

Our allotments are available to residents of the town of Wokingham and the parishes of Arborfield and Barkham. They are very popular and there is currently a waiting list of around 36-48 months.  For further information please complete our Application Form

If you live in elsewhere in the borough of Wokingham, please contact your respective parish or town council to apply for an allotment locally.  Please note that Wokingham Borough Council plays no part in the letting or management of allotment plots.
