General Market

The General Market trades every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 8am to 5pm.

There are vacancies for some product ranges. Traders looking for a market pitch are invited to contact the Market Superintendent. Casual traders are always welcome.

Farmers' Market

The Farmers' Market is held on the 1^st Thursday of each month from 9am to 2pm. The dates for 2010 are:

4th February 4th March 1st April 6th May 3rd June 1st July

5th August 2nd September 7th October 4th November 2nd December

24 farmers are in attendance plus 4 general traders.

Wokingham Farmers' Market is certified by the National Association of Farmers' Markets.

Its policy is 'fresh local food at a fair price'. As the market offers a 'customer first' policy offering a huge product range, foods have been introduced in the market from beyond the 30 mile local radius.

The product range includes several fresh meat farmers & cheese farmers. Also fresh water & sea fish stalls, as well as watercress, seasonable fruit & vegetables, cakes, preserves, honey, breads, wines, fruit juices, sauces, eggs plus much more.
