The Mayor

The Town Mayor of Wokingham is Councillor Peter Lucey. Peter has lived in Wokingham for 22 years and served as a Town Councillor for over 12 of them. He is keen to work with the townspeople and businesses to grow and enhance the Town. Peter is looking forward to the opportunity of serving the Town as Mayor and learning more about the Town and its people while so serving. He currently works in IT Consultancy for Hewlett-Packard Ltd, who are based just outside the Town Centre.


How to request the Mayor's attendance

The Mayor is keen to support local organisations, businesses and charities and is always pleased to receive an invitation to attend a special event.

Where the Mayor is unable to attend due to a prior engagement, the deputy Mayor Councillor Martin Bishop may be able to attend in his place.
