A Civic Award Ceremony has been held at the Town Hall since 1997. This is your opportunity to give something back to those who care.
Awards have previously been given to individuals for caring for children, the elderly or disabled, carrying out voluntary work, being a good neighbour and more.
Any nominee you wish to be considered for an award must live in the Town of Wokingham, or their voluntary work should be for an individual or organisation based with the Town.
A nominee can be of any age but they must have been carrying out their good work for some time and it must not be connected to their employment.
Successful nominees will be invited to attend a ceremony at the Town Hall to receive their award from the Mayor and stay for a buffet afterwards.
To submit an application for 2012 please print and complete both of the following forms, and return them to the address noted on the nomination form.
